There was nothing I didn't like.

We recently stayed at a motel apartment for those on a budget. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the Merivale shopping centre and an excellent Italian restaurant nearby. It was also very close to the city centre, and we could get to everything we needed quickly. The room was spacious, with extra touches like a separate washer and dryer, dishwasher detergent and brush, paper towels, and double glazed windows with soundproof rooms. The bathroom had a heat lamp and heated towel racks, making for a comfortable stay. the service was excellent, and the cleaning staff were polite and thorough.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, leaving us with sore backs.

Had a wonderful time exploring New Zealand's wildlife and culture, thanks to the convenient transport provided by the Penguin Express shuttle. The super-king bed in my room ensured a peaceful sleep. Oh, and Quake City was definitely an "engaging" experience.
